Explore the Bay
If you wish to discover the Arcachon Bay while respecting its environment and engaging in a comprehensive physical activity, our excursions supervised by state-certified instructors offer a fantastic way to explore the bay in harmony with nature. Our instructors will also teach you effective paddling techniques and introduce you to the beautiful hidden spots of our region.

The Dune of Pilat at Low Tide
We head south with the outgoing tide, allowing the current to carry us towards the Dune of Pilat, revealing the coastline of Pyla-sur-Mer. You will return to our base with the incoming tide. This itinerary is scheduled to coincide with the tidal shift.

Our Favorite
Ephemeral Sandbank
We set off towards Cap Ferret during the end of the outgoing tide, venturing beyond the 300-meter zone. Our destination is an ephemeral sandbank, the Banc du Bernet, which emerges only at low tide. From there, you’ll enjoy a 360° view of the Dune of Pilat, Pyla-sur-Mer, and Cap Ferret. After a break (swimming, snack, etc.), we return to Les Arbousiers with the incoming tide.
Pereire Beach and Winter Town at High Tide
We head north with the incoming tide; this route takes you towards downtown Arcachon, allowing you to paddle up to the Jetée des Marins and the Jetée Thiers, where you can catch a glimpse of Île aux Oiseaux. You will return to our base with the outgoing tide.

Outrigger Canoe Excursion
All these excursions can also be undertaken using outrigger canoes. Starting May 25, 2025, we can accommodate up to 12 people.
